The Terrific Taiga

 

Hi, there everyone this is my inquiry I've been working on it with a friend of

mine call Camryn it's about creating a civilization in a place we are people 

haven't created a civilization yet it was quite hard because we weren't much 

stuff and the taiga but then I figured out that there were a few sweet berries 

maybe a bit of wood and a few types of meat. Have you ever wondered what 

it would be like to create a civilization

WANT TO PLAY

 Once in a lab, a scientist was working on creating a life, he was testing it on the remains of dead animals, it would work but they would be highly aggressive and only be able to stay out for an hour at the max. Then one day he brought his son because the son's mother was at work so his dad had to bring him along his Dad told him that he could bring a toy. “stay here son it is very important that you don't come near my work it is very dangerous and you will fall in” said the scientist “ok daddy I won’t go near your work cause I know it's very important to you” said the child (The child was called steven he is kind of the hero of this story). hours and hours passed and the kid got bored so he went to his dad

so far it is only a work in progress but this is what I've been doing for my literacy it is a story about the Time toys came alive it is kind of a Horror Story because we have been learning about narratives. what have you guys been learning about in reading and writing

The Explorer

 

This week for reading I was meant to make a slide about a book that we are reading. 

The book that I chose was the Explorer, the Explorer was a pretty basic book because

the whole premise was about 4 kids who were trapped in a jungle.

If I had to say how hard it was it would have to be a 5 /10

This is a special slide with a lot of songs on it and one of the songs was one that 

 we had to make in inquiry and I have my album cover on it. Plus it has the first 

 song I ever made it was a copy of the Mario theme.

for inquiry, I was meant to make a song for a purpose and this was my song made

this song for the going on a bear hunt theme because my brother is really into the book

and it is one-off his favorites.  he knows the theme of by heart so I thought maybe I could

do that for him. He liked it so this song was made for people who were around the ages of

3 to 7 but if you want to then have a try

DOGGE

So today in school the task was to create a how to and I chose how to
look after a dog but don't mind the dogge in the background that was just a
 funny ad onbut apart from the funny ad on this is actually a pretty good how
 to look after a dog it has what's your name and how to do it on a scale of one
sitting on how hard it was it was probably a 3 it was very easy cos I have my
own pet dog . do any of you have a dog and if you do can you tell me which one

UNDERTAKER

“I am the undertaker. I kill people I don't want to, the glasses make me do the things I don't want to do my  mouth is mute because the glasses made me put on a scarf I can barely breathe.  I can't get them or they will come if I do. I live in a forever loop. This is my cry for help. The loop it keeps on going. I check my watch 3:30 like always I watch person after person I am the undertaker I am the undertaker. All I do is hitchhike all day all night it goes on and on  I am the undertaker I am the undertaker I am the undertaker person after person died because of me I want someone to break me free I cant breath I can't do this for much longer. it's t-th-the glasses try to tell them it's not me . Once there was a kid named Joe spude he was no ordinary boy he was only twelve but he already googolplexilean dollars our story begins with him racing around his full sized race track most rich kids have mini versions but joe was a big kid and needed a bigger than most kids so he got a real race car . When all of a sudden he swerved off course and then CRASH he slammed to a tree so Joe went to his dad who was sitting on a huge black couch made of the rarest fur ever it was Joe’s 12th Birthday so his dad handed him a check for 2 million dollars he was a spoilt kid but he just wanted to live a normal life so he changed from his posh school to the local comp as soon as he got there he made a friend called Bob,Bob was a little fatter than Joe . nowone knew he was rich until he forgot his homework so he got his dad to get it and bring it but his dad bought it in a helicopter so Bob was annoyed with Joe but he did not mind it. So that night he went home to see a random lady with his dad. She was 19 so Joe ran away to a sweet shop where he saw Bob and they made up . Joe worried about his dad so he went home but it was not there but his dad was so Joe ran over to him and gave him a hug so his dad told him what happened “people are suing me for lots and lots of money so they were poor so they went to see Bob and then Joe's Dad really likes Bobs mum and the other way round and now they live with each other THE END

Hittin the Books

In reading this week I was reading a book about The Past Beneth our Feet. This book was about dionsaurs, paleontologist, archaeologist, old plants and old 

Maori houses. Their old tools and how they used them and why they made 

them plus how they helped them. Have you ever wanted to study dinosaurs? If you did then what dinosaur would you want to study? I would love some feedback 

on my slide. If I had to mark how hard it was out of 10 I would mark it a 6.

In maths today I was looking at graphs and what they mean and trying to 

decipher them. We had to then create them by hand and we learnt how to use
