Kia ora bloggers today in school we were making a foam Matariki print in my drawing I drew Aoraki because that is my mountain and the Waimakariri because that is my river when we drew on the foam we had to reverse the image because if we didn't do that then it would have been backward on the print here's how to make it
you will need: A bit of A4 scrap paper, Foam, A3 card, Rolling pins, and Paint or ink
Step 1: First you draw your design on a piece of scrap paper and show a teacher
Step 2: Once the teachers mark your work you trace it onto a piece of foam be careful the foam is very fragile be sure to make an indent where you want no paint to be
Step 3: Then you get some ink/Paint ( Either will work ) then you get a rolling pin and cover it in paint and roll on in the piece of foam used as many colors as you want I recommend 3
Step 4: now you get a bit of card and put the foam on it the push it on as hard as you can then remove and boom you have a foam print
Step 5: if you want to make more you can rinse the foam let it dry then repeat Step 3 and 4
The way you make a frame is you get a basic cardboard cutout then you trace it and cut
I was really proud of the amount of work I put into it if I could change anything I would have done more prints using different colors
